Un abbraccio caloroso ai visitatori vecchie nuovi del C.E.R.S. on line.
 
For many, too many years the Living History and the Re-enactments have been considered, especially in Italy, like a sort of Carnival, without a cultural or didactical value. How many times, dressing an historical clothe, the people asked to us : "Don't You know that the Carnival is end two months ago?" or "Now You are too old to play the ancient soldier..."
On 1997, tired for this situation, some historical companies join together in a free association, that becomes the CERS - Consorzio Europeo Rievocazioni Storiche (Union of European Historical Companies).
 
With the organisation of historical events, the CERS tried to promote all around Europe a new way to learn the History, following the official communication of the European Community, where it speaks of "Learning of History on extra-scholastical field".
So all the CERS' members work very hard to "arrange" their own clothes or equipments on the best historical way as possible, so to envolve the audience in a real "Time-Trip"....
This is the reason because every single event of the CERS becomes a big fest for the audience and, at the same time, for the re-enactors, joined all together in a big fest, an "historical party" where everybody is welcome : Legionaries, Militians, Landsknechts, Napoleons' Soldiers, Tommies, Victorians.... for a neverending exchange of history, culture, language, foods and drinks...
 
At this big, continuous "festival" You are really welcome.
