Tourism of Memory

During the last years, one of the most successful way of tourism is certainly represented by the so-called "tourism of memory." This phenomenon is based on a simple but highly effective principle: after to have analyzed and adequately protected the historical heritage present in an specific area, it is necessary to developed a tourism policy which, operating according to quality standards required by the user, promotes the transformation of this heritage (which by definition is a cost for the community) into a resource (which by definition brings wealth to the territory).

The CERS develops touristic formats designed to promote a specific territory through the enhancement of its tangible and intangible heritage: for discovering ancient routes, castles, villages walked by pilgrims, emperors, popes, soldiers, merchants…a responsible tourism for a deeper emotional experience.
